Dr. Mzengereza visits Uganda

Dr. Kumbukani Mzengereza visited the African Centre of Excellence in Agro-ecology and Livelihood Systems (ACALISE), Uganda in September 2023.

The exchange visit was aimed at building capacity and share knowledge on aquatic animal nutrition and feed technology.

Dr. Kumbukani Mzengereza facilitated a short course and delivered a Guest Lecture under the theme “Thoughts for the Future of Aquaculture Nutrition: Realigning Perspectives to Reflect Contemporary Issues Related to Judicious Use of Alternative Resources in Aquafeeds” to Staff and Student of Uganda Martyrs University.

Dr. Mzengereza was sponsored by the African Centre of Excellence in Neglected and Underutilized Biodiversity (ACENUB) at Mzuzu University. ACENUB was established to strengthen linkages with local, regional and international universities, agriculture knowledge institutions and agro-based industry in agri-food system skills development in Africa.
