ACENUB briefs MZUNI Council’s Finance Committee

On Friday, August 21, 2023, Dr. Mavuto Tembo, who is Director African Centre of Excellence in Neglected and Underutilised Biodiversity (ACENUB) at Mzuzu University (MZUNI), updated Finance Committee of MZUNI Council on the activities taking place at the centre.

The Committee’s Chairperson Dr. Rex Harawa said it is evident that the Centre is on the right path to actualise MZUNI’s Strategic Plan citing pillar 3 (Research and Innovation) and pillar 4 (Internationalisation and Co-operation).

Funded by the World Bank, ACENUB was established to strengthen linkages with local, regional and international universities, agriculture knowledge institutions and agro-based industry in agri-food system skills development in Africa.
