Nyumbani Moyo engages Kenya students

Mzuzu University (MZUNI) Strategic Plan’s Pillar 4 is Internationalisation and Cooperation which aims at strengthening the global knowledge and ability to interconnect. Through the African Centre of Excellence in Neglected and Underutilised Biodiversity (ACENUB), members of staff have engaged in exchange programmes with regional universities.
Mr. Nyumbani Moyo, a lecturer in the Department of Agrisciences, visited Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Agriculture and Agribusiness Management (CESAAM), Egerton University, Kenya in November, 2023.
Among others, Mr. Moyo made a presentation on Value Chain Development for Underutilised Oil Seed Crops in Malawi. ACENUB was established to strengthen linkages with local, regional and international universities, agriculture knowledge institutions and agro-based industry in agri-food system skills development in Africa.
